If we can get Ox, Sergi Roberto, and another LWB in before the window I will be a happy camper.

Yeah rumours on the Ox to you are rife today. I can see why as not only can he play RWB, he will also add depth to your midfield. To be honest though I'd happily take £35m for him, especially with 1 year left. I just don't think he will ever have that real consistency and his ceiling for a top club will be a James Milner level player. Wouldn't surprise me to see him go back to that injury prone, useless player he was when he doesn't have a contract to play for.

Club confirming talks are underway. We gave you Cech, might as well give us Ox :coffee:

Sanchez better than Vertonghen xDxDxD

If not better now, than he will be someday. He's U22 and tbf I've only seen a little of Spurs last season.

I probably put him as the ultimate defender, much better then what Vertonghen was at Ajax.   Its amazing Ajax only paid 4 million for him last year.

Are you surprised? Footballers come in peanuts on the west coast of South America, and each nation produces brilliant talent.

Gareth Barry to West Brom looks a done deal. Should be a quality addition for them, impressed he's still moving to get more games at his age as well though he'll be a massive miss for us in the dressing room and on the training pitch by all accounts.

Positives, it gives Besic probably another season to prove himself to Koeman.

Will be interesting to see if Sigurdsson can step up to a  bigger club than Swansea this time, he failed miserably when he tried to step up to a much bigger club when he went to Spurs.

He didn't fail miserably but he did fail to establish himself fully.

Percy reckons we want £40mil for Drinkwater. I'll piss myself laughing if we get that for him. ITK's reckon he's off though. I'd be sad to see him go but we could add some real quality with that money.

Also a rumour doing the rounds that Watford want Slimani and Talksport reckoned the fee would be £30mil xD I know we paid that for him, ridiculously, but surely they don't need him enough to pay that.

In an ideal scenario I'd keep them both but you couldn't possibly turn down £70mil for those two. It's crazy.

Money is worthless in football now though, it's monopoly.

Better off rejecting and keeping the players.

Southampton are doing it with VVD, RBL with Kieta and ourselves with Coutinho.

Whats the point of £70m in today's market? It's the equivalent of £20m 2 years ago.

A decent scouting system can upgrade on Drinkwater and Slimani for £70mil.

Given the season Slimani has had im sure Leicester would consider selling him for a packet of quavers.

“Is that about Costa?!” Koeman replied, with a smile.

“Of course you like to sign players for the future but if you can get the best one why not?

“That’s for six months, the season, two years.

“I am open to everything to get the best quality players for the team.”

Dream on, Ronald.

He wasn't THAT bad, but he was never a £30mil player and said so at the time. A complete panic buy indicative of the failings we had last summer.

Ideally I'd keep him but if we can recoup that money at his age then we're fools if we don't.

We've been linked with Andros Townsend.

Haven't heard anything about this but as you're the fourth team linked with him in a short period of time something must not be right. If DeBoer continues to deploy him RWB his stock could drop significantly over 12 months.

Weve been linked with Oliver Burke who despite lacking experience would soften the blow somewhat.
