Inverted Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Letting a visibly terrified Saka take the decisive penalty is pure cowardice on a number of people's part.

El Profesor Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 I really feel for Saka, he's a kid and I hope It doesn't affect his career. On the italian side of things, Donnarumma is amazing. What a goalkeeper.
DeadLinesman Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Imagine putting the youngest player on the last penalty. Stupid bastard.
Bluewolf Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 No shocks here.... we always fall when it matters most
Michael Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Poor Saka, 19 year old kid bottled it under pressure. But really we didn't play very well in this final if we are honest. It's a gutting feeling losing like this on penalties again.

DeadLinesman Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 However, those penalties were fucking pathetic.

6666 Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Well, Saka crying nearly broke me. All that pressure on a young lad.
DeadLinesman Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 They genuinely need to lock their Twitter accounts down. It’ll be horrendous.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted July 11, 2021 Subscriber Posted July 11, 2021 Donnaruma is the MOTM no doubt about it. Hard on England and the fans, what a ride its been for them.

My thoughts exactly and the 2 subs he brought on in the dying moments to take the penalties, Sancho and Rashford, both missed their penalties.

Machado Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 That was incredible tbh. Thought England had a comeback in them when Pickford saved it.
Danny Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Best team won the comp, well done Italy. Massive tournament from Southgate, big performances throughout, this team is still on the up. Still more progression from Saka, Sancho, Greenwood, Foden...done the country proud.
Rick Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Feel sorry for Saka, the lad shouldn’t have been in the first five takers. Really poor final three pens, but I’m not gonna knock any of them. The pressure was far too much for them too handle as young men, what a shame to go out like that. Southgate taking off senior players like Walker and Henderson at the end was absolutely ridiculous. Players like Sterling and Grealish not down to take a pen before the likes of Saka and Sancho is also a joke. His management in this final left a lot to be desired, he’s failed some of the young lads at the end there.
