RESULTS

With the Liverpool match being postponed for tonight, we can do the results early!

image.png

- @nudge and @CaaC (John) backed all the Premier League teams who were playing on Saturday to score, but they didn't so everyone else got 2 points!
- There were the same amount of home wins than there were away wins in La Liga on Sunday so the 4 who said it would be equal receive 3 points
- 6 people correctly predicted Grimsby and Halifax would draw in the National League on Monday
- 3 points gained for those who said Wolves would be the first team to score in the match against Manchester United - that goal late on was the only goal of the game
- Plenty of goals in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday as all but 3 players decided there would be less than 16 goals - there were actually 18 across the 6 games.
- The big pointer scenario was the EFL Cup Semi Final first leg winners but as there was only 1 game now due to the postponement, there was only 3 points for the 6 that predicted Chelsea to win

TABLE
image.png

A fairly high scoring week for most, with the top scorer @Michael getting a good return of 13 points. The lowest scorers were John and @Rucksackfranzose (2 points).

@Viva la FCB's 10 points were enough to get them to escape the bottom two, whilst nudge also got a good score of 11 for the round.

The rest of the scores were @Lucas (9), @Tommy (8), Pyfish, @DeadLinesman & @Dan (7) and @RondónEFC, @Stan & @Khan of TF365 (5)

Failure to make their choices means @Bluewolf and @Dr. Gonzo sit bottom of the table.

RESULTS

Delayed the next round of this until now so that I don't have all of the forum games to sort out all at once (I know, it's my own fault!).

image.png

- All but 2 predicted more than 4 goals for Swindon and Manchester City in their FA Cup game so 2 points to those who did!
- Not a single player thought there would be 7 or more lower league teams beating higher opposition - there were exactly 7 on Saturday in the FA Cup
- Inter beat Lazio to carry on their winning streak - backed by 6 players (2 points)
- Espanyol and Elche both scored so 4 players recieved 1 point
- Everton and Leicester's game got postponed due to COVID again so 3 points to those who said there WOULD be a postponement (8 players)
- Norwich failed to score versus West Ham so 2 points to the 3 players who backed them not to score at all

TABLE
@RondónEFC remains top of the table despite the lowest score of the round (2 points). Myself and @CaaC (John) were the highest scorers of the round with 8 points each. 7 points for @Michael and @Khan of TF365 wasn't a bad haul either as it pushes them a few places up the table each.

The rest of the scores were @Lucas (6), @Stan, @Tommy, @nudge & @Viva la FCB (5), @Dan (4), and @Rucksackfranzose (3). @DeadLinesman & @Dr. Gonzo were the only two not to pick their choices this week with both in the bottom 3 sandwiching @Bluewolf who also got 3 points

For fuck sake I've just realised my error in the last round of "Norwich goals v West Ham" which I've read as "goals in Norwich v West Ham".

- No debut goal for Chris Wood so 1 point for those who didn't back him to score (5 players)
- 4 players were optimistic and thought all the Premier League teams would score; they didn't. 2 points to everyone else.
- Most players backed Fiorentina to win against Genoa and got 1 point
- The first goal in DfB Pokal was within the first 5 minutes so 8 players get 3 points each for that one
- 3 points for the 6 players who correctly guessed the number of goals in Ligue 1 on Wednesday
- And it was Liverpool who progressed to the EFL Cup Final so 3 points to those who guessed that one (8 players)

TABLE
image.png

@RondónEFC still sits top of the table and got the highest score along with @Michael in second, @Lucas, myself, @Dan, @Rucksackfranzose and @DeadLinesman, all scoring 9 points!

@Stan scored a respectable 8 points. @Khan of TF365 (7), @Viva la FCB (6) and @nudge (6) didn't score too badly either. @Tommy earnt himself just 3 points but the lowest scorer was @CaaC (John) on 2 points.

@Dr. Gonzo and @Bluewolf didn't score due to not getting their choices in and both sit bottom of the table
