A mate just posted it on Facebook... It's appalling. It was 10th best/worst last season in the league. Got to be taking more than 18 points from the 19 this season. Problem was scoring goals. Conceded 28 which was better those around us and the same as Arsenal who got 12 more away points. Even someone like Lukaku only scored twice away from home since the turn of the year.
Administrator Stan Posted August 23, 2017 Author Administrator Posted August 23, 2017 all kick-offs 15.00 unless stated Saturday 26th August, 2017 Bournemouth vs Man City, 12.30 Crystal Palace vs Swansea Huddersfield vs Southampton Man Utd vs Leicester, 17.30 Newcastle vs West Ham Watford vs Brighton Sunday 27th August, 2017 Chelsea vs Everton, 13.30 Liverpool vs Arsenal, 16.00 Tottenham vs Burnley, 16.00 West Brom vs Stoke, 13.30
Cicero Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I'd like to see us stick with the 3-5-2. Bring on another winger if we need more bite. Morata-----Pedro Cesc Alonso---------Bakayoko-----------Kante---------------Moses Rudiger------------Luiz-------Azpilicueta Courtois
Administrator Stan Posted August 23, 2017 Author Administrator Posted August 23, 2017 When's Hazard back? heard he might have been back for this game...

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 23, 2017 Subscriber Posted August 23, 2017 Narrow loss for us here. Brutal opening for us with City and Chelsea away either side of a trip to Croatia. At least we only have United and Spurs next.

Honey Honey Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Big pressure on both sides to get a win so you'd expect a draw. The crowd will turn ugly if we are shit and losing.
Honey Honey Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Rolando Aarons should start for us imo. I thought his career would be a write off after 2 years of injuries at such a young age but he's shot up to over 6ft in that time and packed the muscle on. Great pre-season and tore through Forest last night. He's become a bit of a Cristiano Ronaldo copy, the potential is huge. Atsu should be dropped for his performance at Huddersfield, that is what our squad competition should do.

IgnisExcubitor Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Sanchez is going to return for Arsenal, which greatly improves their chances.
HK85 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Could get ugly our game like last season there. Monday-Thursday-Sunday all away and so far, all tough where we've had to work for the results. If Chelsea get one early they could run away with it.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 24, 2017 Subscriber Posted August 24, 2017 Expect us to be well beaten. Bit of a baptism of fire this season. We've got to be at our absolute best to get something here. Man Utd have looked immaculate so far.
Dave Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 As much as those 'experts' on MOTD, Sky, Talksport etc slagged him off for it I was delighted that we began to play hoofball last week because it shows DeBoer is willing to abandon his principles based on certain situations. You could argue that a weakened Liverpool who we have a fantastic record against was the wrong team to try it against. But the fact he's at least willing to learn and be versatile is good enough for me. Tammys not scored yet, Roques still to get match fit, and Clucas has been there five minutes. This is the perfect side to start our season against. We really need a win considering our upcoming fixtures, but I wouldn't be against a draw to build confidence going in to the international break so we can approach the next set of games with a more positive mind set.
Honey Honey Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I think if we lose today Rafa will walk when the transfer window closes and sue Mike Ashley.
Honey Honey Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 What a goal by Charlie Daniels. Man City players must have been using fluoride toothpaste before the game
Danny Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 City's defending has been very slow, that goal an example of the lack of pressing so deep. But what a strike
Honey Honey Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Jesus scores and celebrates with a Babestation hand signal
Administrator Stan Posted August 26, 2017 Author Administrator Posted August 26, 2017 Screamer from Daniels. Great hit. Reminds me of Umtiti (?) for Lyon against Spurs few seasons back. David Silva's ball for Jesus' goal was beautiful.

Danny Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Man City's football has basically been like watching porn since they scored so maybe the call worked. They will be class when Gundogan, Silva and De Bruyne are playing centrally together.
Rick Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 De Bruyne and Silva are just fucking fantastic to watch.
