My boss is a few time zones away from me, and to be fair, I rarely start working before lunch anyway

Gym day so it was Poached Egg on Toast (Seeded bread) for me.

Sprinkle of black pepper and salt.

The minute you cut into that egg and the yolk does it's thing and absorbs into the toast...my god.

Just had two egg & bacon sarnie's with tomato sauce, the eggs were free-range though as we don't like any other and I love my eggs runny. :P

Didn't want to create a new thread about what I had for lunch so I thought there must be one buried somewhere by someone and sure enough, good old Cannabis created this one.

Looking back at some of the old threads is mind-bending for a newbie like me when you see members like @Large posting way back in 2017, disappeared then came back last year for a few posts then vanished again, there are a load of interesting old threads around that I love reading as it shows how TF365 was in its earlier days with a few members and now has a lot more. :ay:

I've been cooking more for my lunches rather than just sandwiches.

Yesterday i did a quick stir fry with carrot, spring onion, and shallots to go with some leftover rice.

Today I made some wraps with courgette and mushroom pan fried with some chillies and garlic.

I had to Google that but when I saw it said...

"...Peruvian Creole Aji de Gallina recipe, a spicy, creamy, comforting chicken stew flavoured with aji Amarillo chillies".

https://www.greatbritishchefs.com/recipes/aji-de-gallina-recipe

Thank's Brian, I love chicken and the wife loves curries (and me) and when she saw that she is now tossing up for a Spaghetti Bolognaise or a Curry for Saturday or Sunday dinner, my stomach is rumbling already. :P

Brunch  :P

"Brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch, and regularly has some form of alcoholic drink (most usually champagne or a cocktail) served with it. It is usually served anytime before 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The word is a portmanteau of breakfast and lunch."

Brunch was just something that was invented by Obese people so they could cram another meal between Breakfast and Lunch....

Don't forget elevenses too!

I remember the times when I used to work in the office and take my lunch in with me. I'd end up snacking on the lunch before lunchtime even came along xD

I simply refuse to believe there's a better dish than Aji de Gallina. If you ever stop by a Peruvian restaurant, give it a try. You won't regret it.

Ceviche is great and all but for me this is THE Peruvian dish.
