Crisps.

Ridiculous addiction to any kind, any flavour. Obviously have some of my favourites but I'm always wanting some and wanting to try new flavours if I see any.

It's a really bad, really unhealthy habit and I've tried various ways to cut down - either slowly reducing consumption of them or totally stopping eating/buying them. At the end of the day, it's just will power and I've tried replacement foods i.e. trying to eat healthier snacks to quash the hunger. Sometimes it works and I'll go weeks without touching any crisps at all and I'll feel good, but something always takes me back :(

At uni and when I lived out I would genuinely make sure crisps would be something I buy along with essentials like milk and bread etc. I felt like I'd be missing out if I didn't buy any or miss out on eating as a leisurely easy snack to have when I was back home.

I'd say I eat less than I used to, but it's still far too much.

I used to also have an addiction for Chips, but luckily I've managed to reduce it to one stack or bag of chips a month. My main problem is soda like I said. I just can't cut that down no matter how hard I try.

I went through a stage of always having a toblerone xD they were a pound for a decent sized one in Poundland and I couldn't resist. Every time I finished one I went to get another. I started to notice the effects on my belly though so I stopped without too much trouble.

Football Manager is the one thing I've really struggled to stop in my life. If I play it, it takes over my life. I'm on it until like 5am every night. As I type this my back and neck are killing me because I've been back on it recently. Last night I stopped at 3am. A couple of nights ago it was half 4.

HAHAHAHAHA  just showed the wife that and she laughed her arse off and said, "Fuck that..." I don't think I would win anyway if I tried it with my son, daughter and 3 grandsons, in fact, I would put money on our youngest grandson Kaiden (5+) beating all of us as he is a wee bloody gannet!!     xD

Fucking hell, whats the chances of this popping up today after I posted that stuff about eating Jaffa Cakes...

Good shout with that.

I've had FM every year since mid 00s and then Championship Manager before that. Was a weirdly hard decision last Sept/October not to purchase it given work commitments.

Equally weirdly enough I don't feel like I'm missing out and I'm definitely playing it less. Maybe an hour a day, if that. Whereas before I'd have it on in the background while I work, watch TV, had dinner, then more hours as I got in to bed. Really took a toll on my laptop in the end as well!

Gambling. 2 years ago I'd lose my monthly salary in front of computer screen within one night, sports betting and online casinos were the worst. Today I barely gamble, I even blocked acces to the almost all gambling sites a few days ago and I hope I'll not give up. Really shitty addiction, not even for your money, but for your mental health. I couldn't control it sometimes.

My second addiction is... Xylometazolin, which means really strong nose drops. No one should use it for more than one week, unfortunately, I broke this rule and this is my seventh or eighth year. My nose is constantly stuffy, especially when it's cold outside.

Jesus!! how the hell did you get by each month?? great to see you kicked it though, fair play

Good on you mate.

I've stopped today as well. Cheltenham last week was last straw for me. Wasn't really enjoying it any more and where I'd usually put a but on to make games more interesting, it's now having the reverse effect.

I've uninstalled all apps on my phone, unfollowed some accounts on Twitter and logged out of any accounts I have. I wasn't spending as much as you were but it wasn't healthy and I was thinking to myself the other day how much I'd lose in a month and it was scary. Plus I saw how it was affecting Paul Merson on Harry's Full English programme the other day and that hit me too.

I have some bets on that I put on pre-season which will obviously be seen out but if I win it's going straight back in to my account.

Never been the one for gambling, I will always have a small flutter on the Grand National's and Derby every year with the wife but the most we ever put on money wise is around £5/6 top wack and the National Lottery every now and then.

You're addicted to @Cannabis

More like miss @Cannabis

On a serious note, addiction is probably far fetched, as I wouldn't be able to go all day without it otherwise. It's more a case of enjoying it. It's great stress reliever and the only thing that does the trick.

The Internet is an addiction and people can't go without it anymore.

Whata your favourite? Pickled Onion Monster Munch, Disco's, Worcester sauce French fries, squares are just a few off the top of my head.

They are essential!

Thai Sweet Chilli Sensations.

Any kind of pringles.

I know people find Ready Salted crisps boring but I love them.

Oven-baked Walkers selection are alright.

I quite like Tyrrell's Furrows selection too, and any kind of McCoys.

Mines tea really.

I drink a mixture of mostly herbal teas and have periods where I drink black tea. We bought our housemate a sort of gift box for her birthday and one of the gifts was a kind of Moroccan tea (as she's a big fan of it). We found something in a supermarket and bought it and it was a Moroccan mint tea, with cinnamon. We just chose it by chance and had never tried it before. Anyway, a month or so after her birthday, my housemate is boiling the kettle and offers me some of this tea we bought. It's in the evening before bed and she mentions it's caffeine free, after hearing this I was like yeah fuck it I'll try some. I don't avoid it completely but I don't like drinking tea too late because of the caffeine. So I give it a go and wow, incredible. It took me until a month ago or so to buy some for myself and I just ran out of it yesterday, so it meant not having it last night. And I really missed it. xD So much us so I'm making the effort to go into town today to get some as far as I'm aware it's only available in a certain store.

Think it must be the cinnamon in it.

As for coffee that's something, I have on an odd occasion and I seem to get more of the effects from it as I don't drink it often.
