Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 4, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 4, 2019 As much as this is only a friendly and minor silverware, I do feel that if one of these sides had won by a few goals it would have had a psychological impact on the season ahead, that has been neutralised by the draw though, this shootout is a lottery for the trophy.
6666 Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Looks like Man city and Liverpool fans enjoyed themselves before the game.
Administrator Stan Posted August 4, 2019 Author Administrator Posted August 4, 2019 Decent from Man City. Scored all their penalties.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted August 4, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 4, 2019 Its an omen when the keeper gets to it and the penalty is still scored. Congrats @Happy Blue

Happy Blue Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 GET IT!! FUCKING MASSIVE, MASSIVE WIN ..CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRST HUGE BIT OF SILVERWARE WHILE PLAYING AT 27%
Cicero Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 I would say Liverpool should be fairly optimistic despite the result, however it’s the lack of depth that will have them fall short imo. That said, this City team don’t look nearly as hungry as the past two seasons. Who knows. Exciting times ahead just glad football is back.
LFCMike Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Pleased with that second half showing. Probably should have won it

Rick Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 That was annoying. Suppose each team were better in each half, but still fucked off. Very good second half performance to take into Wednesday, where we should be beating Chelsea.
LFCMadLad Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Well our final pre season friendly went ok. Shit first half hour but then we showed them who's boss. If Mane had been available then we would have won by a cricket score.

Bluewolf Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Can't say I am a fan of Walker but what a brilliant bit of defending to keep Liverpool out... quality effort
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted August 4, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 4, 2019 The daughter is getting grief from the grandson as he said to wee Kaiden "If my Pool win this I will give you a £1" the daughter piped in (she is a United supporter ) City will win this penalty shoot out...they did and Kaiden said "can I have my £1 now uncle Darren?.." He simply said "I can't, we lost, your ma jinxed us..." wee Kaiden has gone in a right hump now with his mum, getting the fiver for swearing from the son and losing a quid on top.
