Just my opinion, and maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I do feel like Lewandowski, Müller, and Neuer are generational talents that will be extremely difficult to replace when they leave/retire. I tend to think that Bayern's grasp on the league has slipped in the last couple years and their titles have been more a function of other teams failures than Bayern's successes. That being said, it is true in that Bayern's consistency when it comes to winning the tough games is something that the competition doesn't have. Leipzig, Dortmund, Gladbach, Wolfsburg, Frankfurt all dropped points against each other and lesser teams down the stretch whereas Bayern grind out the results even when playing poorly. Back to my original point... Bayern will still have talents like Kimmich and Goretzka but replacing Lewandowski's goals and Müller's assists will be extremely difficult, even with a budget that no one else in the league can compete with. Manuel Neuer is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world. I'd like to think that the gap between them and the other teams is getting smaller as those players age. Interested to see what @Viva la FCBwould say about this.2 points

In the original I was very impressed with Mother Abigail and Randalf Flagg characters thought both were very good. I have had a few ESP experiences too so may be one reason why I enjoyed it more than most.1 point

I loved it when it first came out in the 90s, but tried rewatching it a few years ago and thought it didn't age well... That said, it's still much, much better than the new remake from 2020. So disappointing.1 point

Id definitely tend to agree there will be opportunity, as some of faults Pep had the one thing he continually did was absolutely dominate the league. Since he left weve been inconsistent all over the place until Flick in his wonder season but even then the first chunk of that season under Kovac was shit, noone capitalized though. Theres definitely going to be an opportunity with the roster turnover and aging core as you mention and our current transfer policy is leaving alot to be desired (sarr, richards, roca, cuisance etc) but at some point somethings got to give. With fans in the stans and revenue swinging up again I would imagine we will be reinvesting and there in lies the problem for the rest of the league. I should also mention there has been some gems of transfers as well, with Musiala shaping up for the future looking like a real talent even to a lesser extent Nübel and even still splashing cash on Upa to fill long term holes. The word im getting is with Kahn and Hainer taking the reigns there will be more of a shift to home grown players and national players as well so take that for what you will. So the short answer imo is a definite maybe but our resources will probably likely still keep us in the pole position.1 point

Amazingly Bakayoko is to sign a new contract and then sign a 2 year loan to AC Milan. At the end of that spell, in June 2023, Milan will be obliged to purchase Bakayoko, as long as he meets certain playing-related conditions specified by the two clubs in their agreement. As of the time of writing this there is no word what the conditions are, but I would suggest he is unlikely to meet those if its true there is an 20m Euro fee attached in 2 years. No word how much they are paying for the initial 2 year loan. He has been a bit of a cash cow loan fee specialist since falling out of favor. Will anyone take Danny Drinkwater?1 point

I agree but you'd want to keep Henderson around in the role that Milner has filled over the last few years1 point

Honestly? I wouldn't rule out the possibility of the retreat being purposely botched to justify a renewal of american presence in Afghanistan. I mean, on my opinion it's just incompetence but considering US's government long history of lies to manufacture support for foreign interventions (e.g. the Tunkin Gulf incident, Saddam's WMD), it's hard not consider this possibility. But then again, I'm far from an expert, so it may be just me being stupid.1 point

Thanks. Today I was standing in my living room, looking out of my window. Clear sky, full moon. Quite a romantic view. My girlfriend was sitting on the couch, and for a moment I thought, maybe I should get the ring out of the car. I would have to make up an excuse, like I forgot my wallet in the car or something. I considered it for quite a while until I realized that I don't have a girlfriend, nor a ring or a car.1 point

My Hungarian grandfather fucking loved the war and killing Russians. Hated the jewish. He never spoke of killing like this. He never said it was fun or sporting, he was more "it was our duty" type of guy. On the English/Australian side of the family, it was much the same. Killing Japs in Kokoda or Koreans in the Korean war was always a non philosophical discussion.0 points
