LFCMadLad Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Jose is capable of parking the bus and getting a point but let's be honest, he's Peps bitch when all said and done.
True Blue Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Need City to win this as we will surely fuck up at Leicester.
Dr. Gonzo Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Mourinho did a great job with his low block against us. We were the better side against Spurs, but we were still a bit fortunate to get all 3 points. I think with a similar approach and by targeting Otamendi, Spurs can get a result against City here. And while I'm not really a fan of when Mourinho's negative tactics work... and I was enjoying him try to have Spurs playing in a similar vein to how Poch had them set up to play when he first came in - if he gets a result against City that's massive for him and for Spurs. And also for us because I would very much appreciate City to lose more points so I can see something I've waited my whole fucking life for ASAP.
Honey Honey Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Mourinho was on SkySports the other day, they told him that Spurs lost a lot of points from winning positions earlier in the season and that under him they haven't lost any. They asked him why that was, I hoped Mourinho would have answered honestly and said it is because Spurs don't get into winning positions anymore.
Harry Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 I'm really hoping for a Spurs win tonight, just to put a bit more comfort inn that buffer between us and Man City.
N U F C Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Can only see a City win here, no chance that Spurs defence are gonna be able to keep them out. 1-3.
Storts Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 How is that not a red?! Hosed by VAR again (supposedly I haven’t seen a replay)
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted February 2, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 2, 2020 Anything but City scoring 3 goals and i'm happy. I run a game at work where if you get to 21 goals you win the pot... a woman has City on 18. A quid a team a week and we're nearly into the 8th week. Big pot! Nice use of Macro's. Come on Spurs.... scrape a nice 1-0 win.
Danny Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Defo red on Sterling surely? Could only have been saved by the bobble of the ball?
The Artful Dodger Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Matter of time surely, gulf in class is massive:
Danny Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Wow, how can they allow the delay to go on for that long?
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted February 2, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 2, 2020 Wow VAR how long did that take.
Dr. Gonzo Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 VAR making a decision 2 min after the incident is a bit mental
Rick Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 It’s a definite pen but that is a fucking shambles. Absolute shambles. ONE viewing is all it takes to make that decision. Why was play not stopped. Haha Lloris night have just gave another pen away the div.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted February 2, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 2, 2020 Penalty from a penalty or Sterling goes off for diving.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted February 2, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 2, 2020 Lol what is it about this fixture and VAR .
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted February 2, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 2, 2020 Someone tell me how Sterling hasn't gotten a second yellow there.
Danny Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Obviously there are always going to be issues implementing VAR and you would expect them through the first half of the season at least but surely by this point in the season you'd think they would have a plan to prevent these fuck ups With that said VAR is UEFA compliant as opposed to FA so...
The Artful Dodger Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 If it’s not a pen it has to be a booking then?
Rick Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 This refereeing performance has been inept all around, Sterling should be off.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted February 2, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 2, 2020 I just don't see how that can be neither a penalty or a yellow for Sterling. I thought penalty. I don't really get how it isn't? He's been clipped as he goes past.
