Gutted Spurs didn't win, they would have had one of the more underrated stories in world football.

Congrats to Liverpool though, who certainly deserved it after the year they had. El futbol te da revanchas and they got theirs here.

Still not impressed by him, tbh. He wasnt challanged seriously

Yeah he’s only the youngest player to make back to back CLfinals and be the fullback with the most assists ever in the prem.

Divock is officially a Liverpool legend

You are honestly a parody.

I now see TAA in a new light after the last couple of weeks.

Terrible day for the brazilian crowd who hates Alisson.

We don't rate him here in Peru either. It's not just Brazilians who don't like him.

I think he's a good keeper with limitations. Fantastic shot stopper, but I wouldn't call him "world class" overall.

Allison has looked so composed. So different to Karius a year before

Barely tested to be fair. Didn't really need today to say he's better than Karius.

Defensively he is a liability and a proper team would of taken advantage of it. Facts :ay:

Yeah, that's why Barcelona also failed to do so. Facts

Yes but goalkeeper does set the tone. It adds comfort to the team to see the guy between the sticks being cool under pressure.

It's not his fault Spurs didn't take advantage of anything he did wrong.

Was hardly a liability today. Fairly decent going forward and equally so defensively today.

Tragic as it is considering the performances, and I like him, but that's Poch's inexperience there. He turned a team of Champions League finalists into the Harry Kane show. And Kane wasn't up to the occasion.

Klopp deserves every ounce of credit, to the nth degree. He's taken an upper-mid-table team to the absolute pinnacle. An absolutely unbelievable acheivement in age where multiple teams - like Juve, Barca, City, Real, are almost totally hell-bent on winning the CL.

And fuckin Andy Robbo is the best LB in the world rn. Fuckin Fussballgott.

I have to disagree here. He made some important saves near the end to keep the score at 1-0.

You are right, they deserved a trophy but is it really satisfying winning it this way? Won via a questionable PK that change the whole match.

It's satisfying as fuck 👌

Congratulations Liverpool, not the most action packed of games but no-one can really argue that Liverpool didn't deserve something from this season... After all the drama of getting to the final Spurs were unable to match the passion and finishing that helped get them there...

You know when you get people who say Football is rubbish, you’ve got to kind of agree with them, having endured that 90 minutes. That was proper rubbish. Not knocking either side because they’ve both gone three weeks without a game and it showed. That was more pre-season friendly in Singapore than Champions League Final in Madrid.

Big gamble by Pochettino to pick Kane in the starting XI and to keep him on for the duration. It didn’t pay off and it will probably be the “What if?” moment for Spurs.

Said it a while back, it would have been a travesty for Liverpool to end the 2018-19 season without a trophy and I stand by that, despite that 90 minutes.
