Next up is @Eco...

Not managing to get any higher than League One in England and dropping down as low as the National League, Eco's only taste of second tier football came on the COVID excursion to Germany where he supported 3 German sides in the 2. Bundesliga.

Starting out in League Two and making his way through the Premier League and on to Atletico through Europe, Cicero didn't do too badly. Currently sitting in 4th place, it was spells with Liverpool, Leicester and Arminia that bagged him the majority of his points.

EUROPEAN MATCHES

I'm not really sure what the main talking point should be... oh wait, it was the 8 goals (and 3 points) for @Rucksackfranzose, @Batard, @Dr. Gonzo, @HawayTheLads and @Deco as Bayern beat Barcelona 8-2. Meanwhile, it was a win for Inter who play their next Europa League match tomorrow evening. It was a loss for @Stan and @CaaC (John) and a move across to RB Leipzig as Atletico fell to a 2-1 defeat.

PENULTIMATE GAMES!

Over a year now since we first started this Gloryhunter season. Now, the penultimate games have been played with Inter beating Shakhtar Donetsk to secure their place in the final against Sevilla. Over in the Champions League, it was PSG who prevailed against @Stan and @CaaC (John) 's RB Leipzig which means they move for the last time and look ahead to their final match which will be against @Rucksackfranzose, @Dr. Gonzo, @Batard, @HawayTheLads and @Deco whose Bayern team beat Lyon 3-0 to secure their place. Who will grab the final 3 points in this season of Gloryhunter.

With both the Europa League final done and dusted and the Champions League final just finished, that's the end of our first season of Gloryhunter! I've been really happy with the level of engagement it got so hopefully some of you will join in for the next season which I'll be posting soon. 

Firstly though, we've got a couple of games to sort!

Inter lost out to Sevilla in the Europa League final so I finish my season with a loss, as do @CaaC (John) and @Stan whose PSG lost out to @Batard, @Dr. Gonzo, @Rucksackfranzose, @HawayTheLads and @Deco's Bayern in an enjoyable final.

For sure! I plan on becoming more active soon, I've just had a lot on my plate so haven't been on too much!
