penalty to Liverpool after Clichy fouls Firmino and Milner tucks it away in to the side netting. Perfect penalty.

Brilliant delivery from De Bruyne and Aguero slots in. Should be a good final 20! Liverpool had sat back too much after the goal. Dangerous tactic against this kind of team.

Thought Man City had started to look tired as well and as if they're Monaco trip was starting to take its toll.

Agreed, we need to go for the throat now.

Oh Aguero that was so poor. Side-footed volley, leant back, miles over the bar from about 6 yards out. Should be burying that!

Neville gives Mane man of the match?!

Thought Stones has had a better match. And Neville thought Mane got Liverpool the penalty?!

After all the sitters he missed today and also against Monaco, Aguero's career at city should be done

yeah he did but I think he was still piss poor by missing so many chances, just like Cavani

That'll do! Not lost a single game against the top six sides all season which is something to build on. Get Everton out of the way at Anfield and we've got a very favourable run in compared to the rest.

xD

For a normal team maybe, but you've got loads of games you usually drop points in.

You need more top 6 games

Our run in is pretty good too

We should have won that game and that miss from Lallana, the less said the better. Still the top six are out of the way and we haven't lost against any of them which is a good thing. The ref had a horrible game and missed so many bookings the biggest one for me was the swipe by Silva on Mane which then led him to bundle into Clichy. But it wasn't like either team had their shooting boots on today because they both had chances and neither buried them. On to the next game and post that a positive run to the end.

Nail on the head from Storts. The 'ease' of your run in should actually have you very concerned.

Disappointed - thought the Over 2.5 goals bet was the easiest call of the weekend for that one.

A draw was probably a fair result in the end. Both sides have serious issues to sort out in their sides before they can think about stepping up and challenging for the title though, Liverpool needing a GK, CB and LB for starters and City needing to upgrade most of their defence and ideally replace Yaya.

Two managers with a great approach to the game, hopefully we'll see both stick around English football for a decent length of time. Rather than tedium we're exposed to whenever Manchester United or Chelsea play.

What's in our favour though is that United and Arsenal have some big games coming up and both are usually pants in the big games.

I think both our attacks were neutered today and it showed in how some very easy goals just never went in. Agree on the foul that Milner committed on Sterling though as that was probably the best chance you'll had at a penalty.
