Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 24, 2020 Author Subscriber Posted December 24, 2020 Results - Gameweek One Casualties (4) At least two casualties were guaranteed this week as we had two fixtures where Last Man Standing contenders backed opposite sides. On the receiving end of the resulting eliminations first on Tuesday was @Dan, who backed Real Valladolid against the majority pick of Barcelona. Koeman's side ultimately took a convincing 3-0 win and Dan failed to beat the bookies. The other fixture which saw backing for both sides was Getafe vs Celta Vigo on Wednesday, where a draw eliminated both @Rucksackfranzose, who backed the home side and @Pyfish, who backed the visitors. Also eliminated in Gameweek One was @RandoEFC, after Villarreal could only muster a draw at home to Athletic Bilbao. Unlucky chaps, you have been eliminated from this round without scoring a point. Look out for the start of Round Five in France. Survivors (13) It wasn't a Gameweek for bold picks with the traditional big two guiding almost all successful backers over the first hurdle. The only player to break the mould successfully was @Mel81x, who was first into Gameweek Two following Atletico Madrid's 2-0 win at Real Sociedad. The second set of victors came later on Tuesday night as Barcelona's victory over Valladolid saw @Bluewolf, @nudge, @Stan, @...Dan, @DeadLinesman, @Lucas, @Viva la FCB and @Storts join Mel in the next round. The Gameweek Two roster was completed on Wednesday with Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Granada marking success for @McAzeem, @Tommy, @Michael and @CaaC (John). Congratulations to you guys, that's one point on the board and a place in Gameweek Two secured. Preview - Gameweek Two La Liga is not quite as busy as the Premier League over the festive period but there are two sets of fixtures upcoming in quick succession. Gameweek Two takes place with fixtures between Tuesday 29th and Thursday 31st, with Gameweek Three hot on its heels, starting next Saturday, January 2nd. Keep an eye on your notifications! Below are the fixtures for Gameweek Two. Don't pick the same team again! Good luck!

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 30, 2020 Author Subscriber Posted December 30, 2020 We had successful backing for Atletico and Celta tonight. Real Madrid still to come and Sociedad tomorrow. Last night's misses only took out 3 people so far.
Lucas Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 What another disaster Well done to anyone that didn't pick Real or Barca basically.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 31, 2020 Author Subscriber Posted December 31, 2020 Results - Gameweek Two Casualties (7) We're very much split down the middle this time - after the majority rode on the back of Real Madrid or Barcelona in the first Gameweek, these two sides were the worst to back this week. Barcelona could only achieve a 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp when Eibar came visiting, letting down @Mel81x and @Tommy. @McAzeem was also eliminated on Tuesday as Real Valladolid failed to win at Cadiz, instead drawing 0-0. Wednesday took another bite out of our roster of survivors. Real Madrid squandered a first half lead to draw at Elche, spelling the end for @Bluewolf, @nudge, @Lucas and @Storts. Unlucky folks. 1 point for you this round. The way we've gone this year, though, there's a good chance you'll end up joint 3rd when everyone left fucks up in Gameweek Three. Survivors (6) The Super Six that have completed the rare achievement of making 2 consecutive correct picks backed a variety of teams. Atletico Madrid were the first to deliver the good during this set of fixtures. A solitary goal from Luis Suarez was enough to send @...Dan, @DeadLinesman and @Michael through to Gameweek Three. They were soon joined by @Stan and @Viva la FCB, who successfully picked Celta Vigo ahead of their 2-1 home win over Huesca. @CaaC (John) was the only one to pick a fixture from New Year's Eve, but it proved to be worth the wait as Real Sociedad picked up a 1-0 victory at Athletic Bilbao. Congratulations to the survivors, that's 2 points on the board this time around and counting. Can someone put a run together here? Please read ahead and make a prompt pick for Gameweek Three. Full results so far below: Preview - Gameweek Three Below is the latest table along with the fixture list for the next gameweek. Best get in there quickly as games start in 2 days on Saturday 2nd January! Good luck!
