UNORTHODOX Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Fucks sake that red card has completely destroyed us, I don't blame Mane though really even if it was a red card he had to go for that ball because if he got there first he would have scored. It's literally opened the flood gates though.
Inverted Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Despite the 10 men, the specific moments around the goals have also just been kinda lazy defending. Before the red they much more purposeful around their own box, just on a player-by-player basis.
Dave Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 You can say all you want about the red card. Mane wouldn't have made a difference with some of the lackluster defending.
6666 Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Chamberlain's last match for Arsenal remains his best match for Liverpool.

Inverted Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Wonder if Henderson wouldn't have shat it out of that challenge if not for what happens to Mane.
Chaaay AFC Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 It's a miracle, Wenger actually playing players in the right positions. This should definitely be a win today, no excuses.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 9, 2017 Subscriber Posted September 9, 2017 I thought this when City battered us for 45 minutes when it was them a man down, but looking at the squad they have and the rate at which they've been able to get their transfer targets since Pep took over, they have absolutely no excuse not to romp the league this year with United the only other team who have arguably been able to put in place everything they want for this season. Joke that they can just bring on the likes of Sane for a run out when the games been killed off.
Harry Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Gotta say, for the first 40 minutes, 11 vs 11, at home, despite leading 1-0 City really weren't all that impressive.
Bluewolf Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Did I just hear right that City have done well in what was a hard game???
6666 Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Wouldn't have started Sanchez either. Makes sense that he's on the bench. Giroud should've started upfront with Lacazette with Welbeck on the bench. Other than that, not many complaints about the lineup.
Rick Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 That's the worst performance under Klopp. The players totally gave up after Mane went off, they should be ashamed to have conceded those goals today. Fucking shambolic shite.
UNORTHODOX Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 5-0 Fucking shambles how we've completely fallen apart since the sending off we aren't even arsed. Hopefully this doesn't affect our confidence in the coming weeks.

Even before the sending off, City looked the superior side all over the park(but Liverpool were still in it), although after the sending off, Liverpool threw in the towel and it was too easy for City from then on.
Bluewolf Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Blame Chamberlain for that goal.... turning away from it rather than getting in the way. All part of the poor modern day defending
LFCMike Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Kind of expected that second half. Fuck sake

Danny Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Klavan wasn't even Liverpools worst centre back today and I think them not buying a better centre back will come back to bite them.
Rick Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I expected City to take control but I do not expect such a half arsed effort from the players. That's what you expect from Arsenal, not from us under Klopp. Hopefully he gives them a hiding. I'd say drop Klavan and Matip but who the fuck else is there?!!
