Harry Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 We just can't keep the fuckin ball. City making it very tough

Not sure where Stones was but if he was a bit further forward Kompany is almost last man. Never in a million years was Stones catching Salah. The only thing that could've saved Kompany is if the referee judged he won the ball, but gave the foul because he was out of control. In that case, the foul hasn't prevented a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Administrator Stan Posted January 3, 2019 Author Administrator Posted January 3, 2019 Alisson had no chance there. Aguero proper belted that in.
Cicero Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Lovren didn't move at all Classic ball watching. At such a high level, it's criminal

Inverted Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 City still seem nervous, and the fans sensed it too in those last couple of minutes even when Liverpool had possession in pretty harmless positions. Hard to imagine it ending 1-0. And Lovren is a personification of "you're only as strong as your weakest link".

Dr. Gonzo Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 I think the midfield's letting us down here tbh. Obviously the Lovren error too, but he's a player that always has an error in him regardless of what sort of form he's been in so I'm not too surprised.

Inverted Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 I actually think Wijnaldum-Henderson-Milner has been very impressive considering their reputation as Liverpool's least technical midfield.

LFCMadLad Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Next goal absolutely crucial. If they get it I think they win comfortably. We get it and I think we'll go on to win.
carefreeluke Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Bernardo Silva and Fernandinho have been magnificent so far.

Really? I think they've been pretty sloppy, after Mane's second good chance we've really had a hard time moving the ball forward with any cohesion. I think Gini's been fine, tbh. Henderson and Milner have been the bigger offenders imo.
