van Dijk boots the ball into row z more than any top defender I've seen since Carragher. I'm thinking it might not be a coincidence.

And there is another one...

Easily could have been a red. Not sure where Stones was but if he was a bit further forward Kompany is almost last man.

Never in a million years was Stones catching Salah. The only thing that could've saved Kompany is if the referee judged he won the ball, but gave the foul because he was out of control. In that case, the foul hasn't prevented a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Ignore the quote. Can't remove it on my phone.

Lovren can fuck off. Every so often he decided to play like a massive twat. Had to be tonight eh.

Lovren didn't move at all xD

Classic ball watching. At such a high level, it's criminal

He's absolutely fucking terrible. Surely the next player Liverpool replace and get rid of.

Aguero. One of the true PL greats. What a player.

City still seem nervous, and the fans sensed it too in those last couple of minutes even when Liverpool had possession in pretty harmless positions.

Hard to imagine it ending 1-0.

And Lovren is a personification of "you're only as strong as your weakest link".

Intense half.

Can't wait to get Gomez back in this 11

I think the midfield's letting us down here tbh. Obviously the Lovren error too, but he's a player that always has an error in him regardless of what sort of form he's been in so I'm not too surprised.

Must have been 85% possession  to city that half. Need to make our passes sick much better. May happen if the pressure eases second half....

I actually think Wijnaldum-Henderson-Milner has been very impressive considering their reputation as Liverpool's least technical midfield.

Really? I think they've been pretty sloppy, after Mane's second good chance we've really had a hard time moving the ball forward with any cohesion. I think Gini's been fine, tbh. Henderson and Milner have been the bigger offenders imo.

Bernardo Silva and Fernandinho have been magnicfient so far.

Man City rarely look bad when Fernandinho is playing. Superb midfielder.
