Ajax were an actual pleasure to watch. I'm struggling to remember when I last sat down and watched a team continually absorb my interest this season with how quality they were knocking it about like that. At times, it was like watching them play a real life version of Fifa.

Mark my words. This team can win it. They have absolutely no fear. City or Spurs should fear them.

Infact, I would love to see City go through now and see if Ajax could go toe to toe with them. That would be mouth watering because you know it would be a virtual slugfest.

That front three of Ajax work a lot like Mane, Salah and Firmino last year. So fluid the way they link up. And what has happened to Dusan Tadic? He looks three times the player he was at Southampton.

Seriously, what the fuck happened to Tadic. He went from dogshite to incredible.

I'd also say that over the last few years my opinion of Bonucci has plummeted. I honestly thought he was a generational ball-playing centre back.

More and more it seems pretty clear that he's a technically nice player but a subpar defender, who was coddled by Conte in a unique system by being played in between Chiellini and Barzagli.

Given my schedule - I wasn't able to watch this game, which is a shame from the sounds of it.

But, I couldn't be happier with the result. I hate Juventus. I can't stand what they stand for, their cheating, everything. It's the dirtiest club in Italy, which is really saying something. So good riddance you ass hats.

Congrats to Ajax...having defeated Real Madrid, and now Juventus, is quite a feat.

It was definitely shown at AC Milan. He couldn't cop being the main man in a two-CB defensive unit. Watch his highlights (lowlights rather) at Milan and you'll be thoroughly entertained. Probably nonense, but I've heard from the grapevine he is overly serious and incredibly arrogant, which is apparently what soured the relationship between Alves, Juve, and himself.

Incredible performance by this Ajax side, even tough filed with young players they showed maturity for their age and have to be proud of their achievement. First semi for Ajax since the 1997 and i really wish they win it in the end, however the remaining teams will probably again look down on them. To eliminate Real and Juventus and both away from home is incredible well done to them.

I didn't expect them to get this far but I've noticed since the meetings with Bayern that this Ajax does have a bit of the same vibe going on as Ajax 1995. Those were different times, but after the 2017 Europa League final and now this, it's good to see that finally Dutch football is starting to leave its mark on Europe again.

This prediction among local analysts that Ajax will become the Bayern Munich of Holland within a few years is also starting to become more likely by each day.

I think the work of Marc Overmars and the Coach Eric Ten Hag are a huge reason of the rise of Ajax this season, considering last season the Ajax fans attacked their own team bus and wanting Ten Hag to leave as well as Overmars after a failed season that saw PSV Win the league.

Hopefully Juve realise they've blown their best chances of winning the CL and that spunking hundreds of millions of Euros on 30+ year olds isn't going to magically make up for it.

In awe of Ajax. An absolute example to every team in the world on the pitch and behind the scenes.

Imagine what a sport we would have if every team was like them.

That is Italian football on a whole and it is why Mourinho was so successful at Inter as its his way as well.

Reckon De Ligt goes to Barca following De Jong.

Ajax have a great youth setup so hopefully they're a bit more prepared than Monaco for when their squad gets inevitably cherry-picked by other bigger sides. Good to see such a talented group of youngsters get some relative success though. Good luck to them against Spurs or Man City.

Ajax have already a replacement for de Ligt, they are signing Kik Pierie for Heerenveen another huge talent at 18 years old.

They was never going to beat us or Liverpool, this will be the CL final

😮😮 Imagine a Man City vs Liverpool Champions league final in a year where they fought for the EPL title right through to the final day.

That would be pretty fucking epic.

So happy to see Ajax flying high again. A lot of patronising comments though, they're a European giant who easily stand toe to toe with Barcelona and Liverpool in terms of European heritage. In terms of influence on the game, they surpass those two as well.

Not sure patronising is the right word mate. No-one doubts their pedigree, but are both surprised and delighted to see them continually exceeding expectations and looking clearly the better team against much more expensive lineups... Reaching a level they haven't been for two decades.

I hope they can keep DeLigt mate. Start an era of sustained challenge in the Champions league final stages.

It is the right word when you have imbecile pundits acting as if Ajax are some minnow in comparison to Juventus, I get they're not able to compete as much now but respect should be given for what they are. They're a greater club than Juventus are and one of the greatest clubs in history.

Closest would be us and United in 2008
