SirBalon Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 Can't wait for this one... This is set up beautifully.
True Blue Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Think it will be a good open game, fully confident Arsenal will win this as Spurs look very poor so far.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted August 29, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 29, 2019 Predicted a 3-1 win for Spurs in the Prediction League and sticking to it. Both teams always up the stakes when they play each other.
Cicero Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Yeah Arsenal will win this unless another masterclass from Agent Luiz
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 29, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 29, 2019 Arsenal narrow favourites for me. Spurs have looked poor but Arsenal themselves were no great shakes in the two games of theirs I've watched. Might predict a draw.
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted August 30, 2019 Subscriber Posted August 30, 2019 1 minute ago, Storts said: Arsenal 4-1 Tottenham. You been smoking the funny stuff? I've got a Spurs mate who hates Arsenal and when I asked him for a scoreline he said "The Arse 0-Spurs 10...".
FootyFiles Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Honestly can't call this game to be honest. If Ndombele was for I'd be more confident for Spurs, but with how open they've been at the back and the direct approach Pepe has brought to the team, he's gonna be a handful. I've written a preview for this if anyone is interested? Would love some feedback, good or bad to help me improve. https://footyfiles.net/2019/08/30/match-preview-arsenal-v-tottenham-who-has-the-upper-hand/ (If this isn't allowed let me know.)
cb_96 Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Really fancy an open game tomorrow but there for the taking for Arsenal
Dr. Gonzo Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 This one’s tough. Spurs have looked a bit... poo lately. Which is weird. I didn’t think Arsenal were great against us by any stretch of imagination - but surely they won’t play like that at home against their local rival? If they do, I think Spurs will see a lot of the ball and if they don’t make mistakes I think Spurs will get a lot of chances. If that happens, I think Spurs will win because if you put that defense under constant pressure you’ll get golden chances. But I think Emery should look at Spurs and see blood in the water and should strike like a shark. If they keep the ball and go at Spurs, I think they’ve got the firepower to get the 3 points against Spurs. Although I don’t think Arsenal will keep a clean sheet against Spurs.
Chaaay AFC Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 First time the front 3 starts together. Big game for Lacazette needs to prove he can do the business, can't keep accommodating him over Auba up top if he is not performing. Xhaka as well, won't get two better midfield partners for his role. Unfortunately going to miss this because of work, just hope we get the win.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 1, 2019 Subscriber Posted September 1, 2019 Arsenal being a massive Arsenal and Tottenham take the lead. Sokratis goes in to challenge Kane for no reason when Guendouzi is already between them, Luiz gets done easily and Leno rolls Lamela's tame shot directly to Eriksen.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted September 1, 2019 Subscriber Posted September 1, 2019 Pathetic goal to concede.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 1, 2019 Subscriber Posted September 1, 2019 Great save from Leno there but one he should be making I guess. Need an Arsenal equaliser to ignite this.
carefreeluke Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 David Luiz’s free kicks have been gash for ages now by the way Arsenal fans. Don’t know why he’s allowed to be in contention for them still these days. Now I’ve said that he’ll end up scoring one soon.
carefreeluke Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Neville is spot on about Xhaka, always gets away with murder. Gives away so many fouls.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted September 1, 2019 Subscriber Posted September 1, 2019 0-2. Don't even think Spurs have had to be that good either. Arsenal masters of their own downfall as usual. Xhaka is far too reckless.
Rick Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 As if you still have Xaka in your team. Awful player.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 1, 2019 Subscriber Posted September 1, 2019 What the fuck was that from Xhaka? Kane doubles the lead from the spot. It's far too early in the season to draw major conclusions but it's so so hard not to look at this and just say it's going to be another season of the same old Arsenal. Who do they have to come into the side? Is there a first choice centre half missing that I've forgotten about? And don't try and convince me that Holding or Chambers are going to make all the difference to this back four. Tierney will be an upgrade at left back but it's not enough.
Dr. Gonzo Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 That was absolutely mental from Xhaka. He’s a good passer of the ball but so much of the way he plays is questionable.
6666 Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 We really do play some basic and boring football under Emery. The man hates attacking midfielders.
