Two iconic bottlejobs in two years. I don't think he survives it even with two titles.

He should be gone.

4:1 and 3:0 first leg leads and lose both without even pk.

There always is a scapegoat and it's always the coach.

(messi should shoulder same blame) everyone blows his horn when he scores but when he's invisible no one says anything.

Regarding Alisson, there´s a lot of discussion about him in Brazil. I´d say half of brazilians hate him and use every goal he concedes to mock him. In my opinion, he´s a great goalkeeper. Many here say he makes easy saves, but those saves he makes are simple because he´s always at the right place, his sense of position is what makes him a great goalkeeper.

People in Peru don't rate him either. I've had a few friends call him "la mentira Alisson".

I really think klopp could be the best manager in the world. I'm not sure of another manager who could do what he has done at Liverpool

Messi gave them a 3-0 lead.

The rest of the team sat back, hoped he would win the game single-handedly again, and they blew it.

I'm absolutely baffled by the controversy over the fourth goal. You're allowed to take set pieces quickly. If you weren't, the goal wouldn't have stood. If it's unsporting to do that, then it's unsporting to counter attack because you should give the opposition a chance to reorganise first. Absolute nonsense

I'm not going to try and say anything about the game because I just can't. Holy fucking shit these reds

For me, Milner is my favourite Liverpool player and I’d much rather see him lift the cup than Henderson.

I like Milner but Henderson was immense today to be fair. He's grown a lot on me as a player lately.

Tbf to Messi, over the two legs I think we were the better side on the balance of the football played - not in terms of putting away changes, where Barca were obviously much better than us. But Messi did score two goals in that first leg and played a part in the creation of that Suarez goal by picking out Alba... so of the 3 goals scored by Barca over two legs, he's played a part in all 3 of them.

Today Barca were worse than us all over the pitch... and this time we put our chances away and they didn't. But nobody on Barca other than Vidal played well. Barca's been carried by Messi before, but it's a team sport and if nobody on the team turns up it seems a bit weird to single out one player. It's honestly pretty easy to single out a Barca player - Vidal. Everyone else was poor, they all deserve blame other than him - over the two legs he was phenomenal.

I was listening to the tele on mute, so I thought the corner was taken with Barcelona not realising the whistle had blown. That is essentially where my thinking stemmed from

Let’s be honest, it would be a travesty if the Liverpool side of 2018/19 finished the season without a trophy of any kind.

I don't mean to be negative, but Liverpool could become the next Leverkusen of 2002, or Benfica of 2014 who lost everything on the final day.

They could, however, the current crop have much more talent than I’ve seen in many sides that have won trophies.

Liverpool were the better side cause you lot have a much better squad. Liverpool’s team works together, and Barca’s is a hosge-podge bloated mess that relies on Messi being the greatest player. I honestly believe thay Liverpool have the most efficiently assembled squad in the world.  Not a piece is out of place

Keep showing the replays of that fourth goal. Give Origi the keys to the fucking city and a plethora of top of the range escorts for the evening.

He probably deserves more than a few crappy cars.

I also won 80 quid cause I bet we would qualify last week after the first leg. Thought that was a goner

I had a tenner on after the first leg too. Wish I'd have put more on today cos the odds would have been better with Salah and Firmino out

Barca squandered a 3 goal first leg lead last year against AS Roma, have done so again this season vs Liverpool. There is a pattern here, in fact their KO UCL away record over the last 4 seasons is pretty woeful.

Also Divock Origi has scored some big fucking goals for us this season.

Right from the off you could see the hunger for the win that Barcelona just didn't have... When he came in for that first goal you could see he didn't care if it came off his foot, his knee, or any part of his body as long as it went in the net... he drove himself to be there to make something happen and he did..

I have to say with all the turnarounds and shocks this CL has seen it's been a blinder to watch... been some truly great games and even greater results, I fancy you will get Ajax in the final...

I don't see how anyone complains about that goal being unsporting. You want to win the Champions League and you're playing Liverpool you can't afford to switch off and all turn away at a corner.

Don't think it's unsporting at all but I was amazed at the time that the goal stood. Is it normal practice for the referee to let them take a corner that quickly? Is it just one of those daft things I've never noticed?

The Champions League is unbelievable. Some teams, some grounds just have a very very special relationship with the tournament , very few more so than Liverpool & Anfield.

I think I'd prefer to get Spurs in the final tbh. We're more familiar with them and they're not in great form and a bit depleted with injuries.

Whereas Ajax have that side of "forgotten European giants having a date with destiny" type of feel that I felt with us in 2005. So not going against them in the final sounds ideal to a superstitious Gonzo.

I don't think anyone knows? Not many teams walk to the edge of the area and stare in the complete opposite direction by the time the other team has the ball in the corner ready to take it. Amateur hour from Barcelona. If you're Arnold though surely you take the quick corner kick and ask questions later when you see that unfolding in front of you.
