Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 1, 2020 Subscriber Posted November 1, 2020 Round 2 takes us to Germany. All of those who took part in Round 1 along with any new additions are welcome for Round 2. @RandoEFC @Batard @Mel81x @...Dan @DeadLinesman @Tommy @Viva la FCB @Bluewolf @nudge @Azeem @Pyfish @Lucas @Michael @Stan @Rucksackfranzose @Dan @Eco You know the score: pick a match winner each week, you can't use the same team twice. For the league table, each correct pick gets you a point until your streak ends. Winner gets 3 bonus points, runner-up gets 2 bonus points, third place gets 1 bonus. We need a standalone winner so a tie breaker will be used if necessary, but ties are allowed for 2nd and 3rd place. My pick for Gameweek One is RB Leipzig.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted November 1, 2020 Subscriber Posted November 1, 2020 RB Leipzig. My rule was gonna be "whoever Schalke are playing" and then... yeah.

Wouldn't be shocked if they beat Schalke though. 22 games without a win is it? For a club of their size it's a scandal.
Rucksackfranzose Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Tough matchday to start this round. It's risky, still Union Berlin please.
Bluewolf Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Red Bull for me as well please... 5 hours ago, Azeem said: Schalke

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted November 8, 2020 Author Subscriber Posted November 8, 2020 Results - Gameweek One Casualties (6) The first casualties of this round of the competition came as early as Friday evening as Werder Bremen could only muster a draw at home to Koln, spelling the end in this round for @Mel81x, @nudge and @Tommy. Elsewhere, all three players who went their own way instead of following the crowd paid the price. @Stan's Augsburg were hammered 3-0 at home to Hertha Berlin on Saturday afternoon, before Schalke dropped points at Mainz, taking @Azeem out in the process. Sunday saw Hoffenheim lose at Wolfsburg, meaning curtains for @Pyfish. Bad luck folks, that's defeat without a single point this round. Keep your eye out for the beginning of Round 3. Survivors (11) With Dortmund and Bayern facing each other this week, the clear and most popular path into Gameweek Two was to back RB Leipzig, who duly delivered a 3-0 win at home to Freiburg and escorted @RandoEFC, @Bluewolf, @Dan, @DeadLinesman, @Lucas, @Michael, @Viva la FCB, @Eco and @Storts into the next phase. An even more comfortable passage was delivered by Union Berlin, 5-0 victors over Arminia Bielefeld to the benefit of @Rucksackfranzose and @...Dan who get the added bonus of keeping an extra big hitter in their back pocket for a later date. Well done everyone, that's one point on the board. Please read ahead and make a pick for Gameweek Two at your convenience. Preview - Gameweek Two Please note that, due to the international break, these fixtures don't take place until the 21st-22nd of November. I'll tag you in the run up to that weekend if you want to leave your pick until later. Below is the current table, and the fixtures for Gameweek Two. My pick for Gameweek Two is Bayern Munich.
Administrator Stan Posted November 8, 2020 Administrator Posted November 8, 2020 Excellent start. Enjoy and good luck everyone!
