Subscriber Dan+ Posted February 16, 2022 Subscriber Posted February 16, 2022 That is biblical luck. I will take Villarreal.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted February 17, 2022 Author Subscriber Posted February 17, 2022 Levante beat Atletico midweek as well. Maybe that's the game @nudge was talking about and she should be reinstated.
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted February 20, 2022 Subscriber Posted February 20, 2022 Oh well, thats me out until the next rounds after these, sigh, Espanyol 1-1 Sevilla
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted February 23, 2022 Author Subscriber Posted February 23, 2022 Results - Gameweek Two Casualties (4) Another trickle of eliminations this Gameweek as the field thins out slightly more. Sunday's first game spelt the end of @CaaC (John)'s run, the sole backer of Sevilla disappointed to see them pegged back in a 1-1 draw at Espanyol, a game in which they led at half-time. This was the only moment of bloodshed over the weekend, but Monday brought disappointment for @Stan, @RondónEFC and @Redcanuck as Levante's late equaliser denied Celta Vigo three points against the bottom side. Hard luck, chaps. That's 1 point in this round. See you when we hit France for the fifth round. Survivors (11) After two Gameweeks, we remain just about in double figures for contenders left standing. @Dan and @Rucksackfranzose were the first to populate Gameweek Three thanks to Villarreal's thumping 4-1 win at Granada in a game which saw three goals come from the penalty spot. @Aladdin was also on the right end of a three-goal margin on Saturday, as Atletico Madrid put three past Osasuna without response away from home. Although Real Madrid took 63 minutes to break the deadlock in their home victory over Alaves, they too secured a 3-0 win, sending over half of this week's survivors into the next Gameweek - @Bluewolf, @Michael, @Storts, @DeadLinesman, @Lucas and @6666. On Sunday, @Tommy and @...Dan were made to sweat more than their peers, but Real Betis still got the job done for them, Willian Jose's late penalty deciding their home tie with Mallorca. Congratulations on your progress - please read ahead for Gameweek Three. Preview - Gameweek Three Table and fixtures below. Remember not to repeat a pick you've already made, games start on Friday! I am also including next week's midweek rearranged game between Mallorca and Real Sociedad. If you choose one of these teams, please specify which game you're backing them to win! Friday 25th February Levante vs Elche Saturday 26th February Mallorca vs Valencia Getafe vs Deportivo Alaves Rayo Vallecano vs Real Madrid Atletico Madrid vs Celta Vigo Sunday 27th February Villarreal vs Espanyol Sevilla vs Real Betis Real Sociedad vs Osasuna Barcelona vs Athletic Club Monday, 28th February Granada vs Cadiz Wednesday, 2nd March Mallorca vs Real Sociedad Good luck!
