I actually can't be arsed typing the rules out again. You all know what you're doing now, don't pick a team twice.

Third round takes place in Italy. Tagging all of those that have taken part so far:

@Viva la FCB @RandoEFC @...Dan @DeadLinesman @Batard @Mel81x @Tommy @Bluewolf @Lucas @Michael @Dan @nudge @McAzeem @Pyfish @Rucksackfranzose @Eco @Storts @Stan

See below for the current Serie A table and the fixtures for Gameweek One, which start on Saturday 5 December.

Results - Gameweek One

Casualties (2)

It's a strong start overall to the latest bout of Last Man Standing, with 15 of the 17 entrants surviving the first hurdle. Those that suffered were the ones who strayed from this week's 'meta'. @...Dan was first to fall after backing Hellas Verona, only to see them draw with Cagliari. Following him out was @Pyfish, whose Fiorentina side could only rescue a draw in their home fixture with Genoa.

Bad luck lads, that's you out of this round without scoring. Look out for the start of Round 4. Thanks for playing!

Survivors (15)

With plenty of big hitters to choose from in Serie A this week, the vast majority took advantage and secured their place in Gameweek Two. @nudge was alone in picking Lazio this week and was the first to book her place in the next phase following their 2-1 win at Spezia. She was soon joined by @Bluewolf, @Mel81x, @Rucksackfranzose, @Tommy and @CaaC (John), who breathed a collective sigh of relief following Juventus' late comeback victory in the Turin derby. More success came in Saturday's final game, as Inter's 3-1 victory over Bologna escorted @RandoEFC and @Stan over the line this week. The remainder of our contenders backed Napoli in their Sunday visit to Crotone. Gattuso's side justified their place as this week's most-backed side with a thumping 4-0 success, much to the delight of @McAzeem, @Dan, @DeadLinesman, @Lucas, @Michael, @Viva la FCB and @Storts.

Congratulations, folks. That's a point on the board, but there remains a lot of competition over the three bonus point positions.

Preview - Gameweek Two

Below are the fixtures for this weekend, starting on Friday night. You know what to do - remember not to pick the same team again!

My pick for Gameweek Two is Milan. Good luck!
