Eco
Perfect half for Monaco. They are making me think I should start watching more of them in Ligue 1.

...Dan
Monaco not being adventurous enough in the second half. If they're not careful the same thing will happen to them as what happened to PSG. Sitting back and waiting for the opposition to score is never a good plan.
Eco
Everyone knew that was coming. Either Monaco stepped off the gas or City has turned it up (or both), but Monaco have been absent since the break.
Administrator Stan Posted March 15, 2017 Administrator Share Posted March 15, 2017 Game on! Man City get an away goal. they lead on aggregate. Great play by Sterling. Cuts inside, shoots, keeper saves, Sane gets the rebound in.

Administrator Stan Posted March 15, 2017 Administrator Share Posted March 15, 2017 Monaco have been terrible this half. Barely a shadow of their first half performance but they manage to get another goal.

Subscriber Dan+ Posted March 15, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted March 15, 2017 Last English team. This is a dream isn't it? I thought Monaco would get through this when it was drawn. They have a very, very tidy side at the minute.
6666
Looks like Man Utd spunked out on a French striker from Monaco too early. Martial barely did much for Monaco and wasn't being talked about a whole lot before Man Utd spent a fortune on him, this Mbappe kid however is really looking impressive. Spike
Pep Guardiola is just too smart for English football. His players can't understand his philosophy. Pep was truly blessed to have his vision enabled by geniuses like Messy, Chavi and Inyesta.

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted March 16, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted March 16, 2017 Monaco did all the damage in the first half and the person City looked to turn things over in the second (Aguero) never really came good in the end. But the real hero of the night was Subašić. In the first leg he made some mistakes that cost his team goals but in the second half last night, and even the first, he was superb. The determination to clear the ball and come off his line at the right time to stop balls crossed in was a marked difference from that first leg in Manchester. Pep now has lesser to worry on his plate so who knows whether this will give him time to get his team tactics right but their defense is still not where it needs to be. The draw for the next round is going to be very interesting.

True Blue
Best keeper, best squad and best manager i was certain that the title, fa cup, league cup and UCL was all City's. Now a third spot in the league looks unrealistic

God is Haaland
I've never seen Pep so angry with his players before. I've seen him shout at a single one in a match maybe, but nothing like yesterday. Pep was really scraming at atleast four city players.

Didn't you know? Stones, Bravo+150m he spent this summer. He was buying players for City even when he was working for Bayern. Disgusting human being not respecting a big club like Bayern. The whole BarcaDNA is inside him, he is cursed.
