Azeem Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 This royal family is nothing compared to the Suadi royal family. They have 200+ members and everyone has enough wealth by inheritance they don't need to work for a second in their lives.

To be fair, it's not like the British royal family would risk to starve to death if they decided not to work a single miute in their whole lives, either.
Administrator Stan Posted September 8, 2022 Administrator Posted September 8, 2022 Doesn't sound good for the Queen Immediate family are heading to Balmoral.
Danny Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Country will be a fucking nightmare if she dies

Full respect to her as a woman and ultimately it's someone's Mum and Gran. I think it's a harder life than many people would admit. But christ, we don't half lose our minds and become an utterly unserious country when it comes to the royal family sometimes.

6666 Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Don't really care about the Royal Family but we're still talking about a person dying. She is getting up there in age so it's not a massive surprise but sad news nonetheless.

Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted September 8, 2022 Subscriber Posted September 8, 2022 I wouldn't class myself as a Royalist although I signed up to serve in the army and paid my shilling (10p) back in 1972 to serve my Queen and country. Now, the wife I would class as a semi royalist and she has had this tv on non-stop since it was reported around lunchtime all about the queen, doing my head in, BUT, I had a knight in shining armour arrive with our daughter, wee Kaiden He said to me "Granddad, can I turn my youtube channel on, please", my reply was YEEEEEEESSSS

I don't have to watch it to find it a bit silly and excessive. We got a taste of it when Prince Philip died. I do understand why the BBC get the way they do over the royals but it's just not for me.
Administrator Stan Posted September 8, 2022 Administrator Posted September 8, 2022 RIP to the Queen I'm no royalist, but this is quite sad. It's all quite surreal and all we have pretty much ever known with her as the monarch. RIP.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted September 8, 2022 Subscriber Posted September 8, 2022 RIP. 96 is a good age and a life well lived.
Rick Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 RIP Far from a royalist, but somebody’s mum and grandma just died so it’s sad for them.
Cicero Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 It is a bit sad but that is a great age to pass.
Spike Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 I’m not a royalist at all but she has been a constant fact in my life and two generations of my family prior. I’ve never known a reality where Elizabeth wasn’t the queen. It is really bizarre.
MUFC Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Sad news, she was very pretty in her day. Time for King Charles era.
