Up first this weekend was @...Dan, the sole backer of RKC Waalwijk, and he was rewarded for his niche pick with a 4-1 victory over FC Volendam. @Whiskey and @6666 had each other for company despite also veering from the mainstream options this weekend, and Anwar El-Ghazi delivered them into Gameweek Two with the only goal in PSV Eindhoven's visit to Sparta Rotterdam. FC Utrecht were slightly more comfortable, their 3-0 win at Cambuur seeing @Stan, @Tommy, @Lucas, @Pyfish, @Viva la FCB and @CaaC (John) into Gameweek Two. Just over half of the entrants waited until Sunday to learn their fate. A pair of goals from Santiago Gimenez saw Feyenoord justify their position as the most popular pick for this set of fixtures in their 2-0 win at Excelsior, allowing @nudge, @Dan, @DeadLinesman, @Michael, @Redcanuck, @Bluewolf, @Storts, @RandoEFC, @Rick and @Rucksackfranzose all to clear the first hurdle.
