Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 18, 2021 Subscriber Posted December 18, 2021 That's annoying as I'd have 100% had one of those two I'm gonna take a bit of a gamble here and go with Empoli.

Lucas Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Ah bollocks. Didn't realise we started so soon. Struggling for choice here so will go Atalanta. Shit or bust first round
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 18, 2021 Author Subscriber Posted December 18, 2021 Yeah sorry about that chaps. Quick turnaround, didn't want to leave it another week though to get started back up.
Lucas Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Well that was a waste after 8/9 weeks of Bundesliga. Good luck to the rest of you
Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 19, 2021 Subscriber Posted December 19, 2021 I am just jinxed on these. Empoli win at Juventus and Napoli but obviously the world beating Spezia were a step too far.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 20, 2021 Author Subscriber Posted December 20, 2021 Results - Gameweek One Casualties (9) With the quick turnaround playing no small role in the results from this Gameweek, many of our contenders suffered from not getting a pick in before Friday's fixtures, leading to a casualty list just short of double figures. Saturday saw the first casualties of the weekend, as the winners of the two previous rounds, @Michael and @Lucas were undone by Mourinho's Roma, who thumped their pick Atalanta 4-1 in their own back yard. Sunday brought a flurry of frustrating draws for our contenders, with Fiorentina the biggest culprits, only able to rescue a draw from a 2-0 half-time deficit to Sassuolo, spelling the end of this round for @Khan of TF365, @Rick, @Tommy, @Devil and @nudge. @Dan's Empoli were unable to secure three points at Spezia in a 1-1 draw containing two own goals, meaning that he also falls at the first hurdle. Finally, Sampdoria's inability to convert their first minute lead over Venezia into three points ends @...Dan's hope of progress to Gameweek Two. Unlucky folks, see you in the New Year as we drop into Spain for Round Four. Survivors (14) We are still left with a sizeable field heading into the next Gameweek, and our survivors were evenly split between Friday night's pair of winning teams. Lazio initially despatched Genoa with a comfortable 3-1 win to take @RondónEFC, @Stan, @CaaC (John), @Pyfish, @Redcanuck, @Asura and @Viva la FCB into Gameweek Two. Internazionale barely broke a sweat in their 5-0 thumping of Salernitana just a couple of hours later, securing safe passage for @Storts, @Bluewolf, @DeadLinesman, @Mel81x, @Whiskey, @6666 and @Rucksackfranzose. Congratulations on clearing the first week folks, please be aware that the next set of fixtures in Italy are in midweek before a break until the New Year. Preview - Gameweek Two Like I say, games start tomorrow night for the midweek fixtures. I will put a reminder out tomorrow afternoon for anyone who hasn't picked. If you don't see this until Wednesday, you can still make a pick from the remaining fixtures as usual. Remember not to use the team that got you through the first week! My pick for Gameweek Two is Roma.

Rucksackfranzose Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 @RondónEFC The Udinese match has been postponed, therefore I'd like to change to Roma, please.
